Head of State Tokayev visits Shakhter village in Karaganda region
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited a number of social facilities in Shakhter village, Nurinskiy district, as part of his working visit to Karaganda region, Akorda reports.
As part of the visit, President Tokayev familiarized with the operation of the sports and recreation complex, hosting volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis and Kazakh wrestling clubs as well as a gym.
Attending the complex are also children from neighboring villages of Muzbel, Yegindi and Baitugan.
The President expected the swimming pool as well as the renovated local House of Culture. Tokayev pointed out the contribution of Shakhterskoye LLP Director Georgiy Prokop to the realization of projects in the village under businesses’ social responsibility and commitment to the promotion of sport, culture and art in the district.
The Head of State talked with the personnel of the folk brass orchestra of Shakhter village and wished them creative success. He highlighted the importance of carrying out sports and cultural projects in districts.
During his visit to Nurinskiy district, Tokayev also had a talk with workers in Shakhter village.
Shakhterskoye LLP Director Georgiy Prokop informed that the agricultural enterprise employs 245 locals, largely engaged in sowing grain and oilseed as well as potatoes. According to him, the agricultural organization’s technical fleet features modern tracked and wheeled tractors and harvesters of brands such as John Deere, Buhler, CLASS, Lovol, Valtra, РСМ, Acros. Full preparedness for the harvest of grain crops has been stated. Locals spoke about the favorable working and living conditions created in the village.
In conclusion, President Tokayev highlighted that the state will continue to attach great attention to the development of the village and provide support to farmers.
