Head of State Tokayev visits YDA Industrial Park
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the YDA Industrial Park integrated production facility, made up of five enterprises manufacturing hospital and office furniture, medical equipment, modular buildings and metal structures, windows and stained glass windows, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
It was noted that the products made at the facility are import substitutes and are not inferior to their foreign counterparts.
President Tokayev toured the production workshops and showrooms of the facility.
According to the project’s investor – chairman of the board of directors of Türkiye’s YDA Group Hüseyin Arslan, the integrated production facility was launched in 2021-22 at the expense of the won investment (30%) and borrowed means (70%). The KZT22bn worth project provides 300 jobs.
The Kazakh Head of State also got familiarized with Harmony Steam School, built at the expense of and fully equipped with products of YDA Group. The school uses the STEAM technology.
In conclusion, the President of Kazakhstan stressed the importance of development of domestic production and enhancing the volume of local content when realizing major projects.
