Head of State visited new perinatal center in Shymkent

SHYMKENT. March 10. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ Within his working trip to South Kazakhstan region President Nursultan Nazarbayev has got familiarized with the work of a new perinatal center built in the Nursat microdistrict in December, 2010.

As the akimat's press service reports, the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation financed the construction of the perinatal center. "The project cost USD 25.5 mln," the press release reads.

The President noted that knowledge and skills of doctors should comply with high technologies. The Head of State reminded that the Unified National Healthcare System will be completely introduced by 2013. One of its important tasks is strengthening of the system of disease prevention, first of all, among women and children.
