Head of State visits Rodina village in Akmola region

As part of his working trip to the Akmola region, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited a house of culture in Rodina village, located 70 kilometers from Astana, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

The building has a total area of 1,563 square meters and comprises a range of facilities, including choreographic and sports halls, a recording studio, and clubs. Additionally, the facility houses numerous creative groups and sports clubs, which collectively serve over 400 local residents.

Rodina agricultural company Director-General Ivan Sauer briefed the President on the ongoing social projects. In line with the company's commitment to social responsibility, a total of 791 million tenge was allocated for the development of the village in 2023.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with "the Dostyk Shuagy" (Sun of Friendship) arrangement performed by performers of the house of culture and engaged in discussions with local residents.

“Greetings to everyone. I came here today on purpose, I have heard a lot about Ivan Sauer’s farm. I have repeatedly promised to pay a visit, but was able to come today. The farm is huge and uses the advanced farming methods. I wish happiness and prosperity to everyone,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. “The farm is huge and is regarded a beacon of agricultural development. I extend my best wishes of happiness and prosperity to all," the President stated.

In addition, Tokayev visited “Nasha Rodina” grocery store, Dostyk Park and a local secondary school.
