Head of the State received Minister of Environmental Protection

ASTANA-AKORDA. January 14. KAZINFORM. Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Minister of Environmental Protection Nurlan Iskakov today; Kazinform has learnt from the Presidential press service.

N. Iskakov reported to the President on the main results of the Ministry?s activity in 2008 and plans for 2009. He also informed of the development of the department?s anti-crisis program for 2009-2010. Its implementation will provide inflow of no less than USD 2 bln to the country?s economy from the environmental measures taken by sub-surface users.
