Head of Turkish oil company: Oil reserves of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan may cover the two year demand of Turkey

BAKU. March 3. KAZINFORM Head of the Turkish national oil company Mehmet Uysal spoke of the activity of the company at a press conference, Turkish Cihan news agency informs.

Mehmet Uysal announced that before 2023 Turkey would pay $600 bln for crude oil and noted that underground reserves of the Black Sea brought hope to them. "The potential of the Black Sea is large. The oil reserves of the sea may meet 40 year demand of Turkey. The Black Sea has 10 bln barrels of oil reserves. It is probable that its natural gas reserves equal 1.5 bln cubic meters", said he. Uysal also noted that oil reserves of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan may cover the two years demand of Turkey. TPAO leader noted that company revenues from sale have risen from $500 mln to $2.2 bln, Kazinform refers to TodayAz.
