Heads of CSTO member States adopt Declaration of Collective Security Council

Following the expanded-format meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council in the Kazakh capital of Astana, the Declaration of the Collective Security Council and a number of documents were signed.
The Target Interstate Program of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border was approved.
The Heads of State also adopted the Statement on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the 1941/45 Great Patriotic War and approved the Action Plan to celebrate this landmark date in 2025.

Earlier it was reported that President Tokayev summarized Kazakhstan's CSTO chairmanship results.
It was also informed that the next regular session of the CSTO Collective Security Council is scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan in late 2025.
