Heads of Czech, Kazakh Governments discussed wide spectrum of issues of coop
ASTANA. February 12. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Heads of the Governments of Kazakhstan and Czech Republic Karim Massimov and Mirek Topolanek discussed wide spectrum of issues of bilateral cooperation, Kazinform reports.
?A range of important issues of bilateral cooperation between our countries and between Kazakhstan and the European Union was discussed today. We discussed common policy and projects that can be realized?, K.Massimov said.
?The second part of issues is not of less importance. Czech Republic is the chairman of the EU, and the Union is the biggest trade partner of Kazakhstan and consumer of energy resources?, K.Massimov noted.
M.Topolanek noted that the EU is interested in extension of cooperation with Kazakhstan. ?We positively treat your chairmanship in the OSCE, ambitions on the WTO assessment and appreciate your efforts in Afghanistan and regional security provision sphere?, he added.
The European Union is interested in the diversification of ways and sources of energy supply. The issue of their transportation from the territory of Kazakhstan is one of the most important points in the development of bilateral cooperation.
