Heads of government of SCO, CIS and EAEU to meet in Bishkek

On October 26, the capital of Kyrgyzstan will host a meeting of the Heads of Government Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Heads of State Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The meetings will discuss the relevant issues of interaction and strengthening cooperation among the member states.

A number of documents in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres will be signed.

Those attending the meeting of the SCO Heads of Government Council will be Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Mokhber, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang, Prime Minister of Mongolia Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, Minister of External Affairs of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Jalil Abbas Jilani.

As many as 4,000 police officers will be attracted to ensure public safety in the capital during the official events. On October 25-26, the city’s educational organizations will switch to distance learning.
