Heads of <i>SamrukKazyna</i>, <i>Russian Sberbank</i> meet in Astana

ASTANA. January 17. KAZINFORM ?National Welfare Fund ?SamrukKazyna? JSC CEO Kairat Kelimbetov has held a meeting with head of ?Sberbank of Russia? German Gref; Kazinform refers to the Fund?s press service.

Within the meeting the sides discussed anti-recessionary activities, which Kazakhstan and Russia realize. K.Kelimbetov informed the colleague of the Joint Action Plan of the Government, National Bank and Financial Supervision Agency on stabilization of economy and financial system. As is known, Kazakhstan is one of the first countries in the post-Soviet space, which take a decision to allocate funds from the national budget for stabilization of economy and financial sector. The Russian Government takes activities on the crisis countering. Within the discussion the parties reached an agreement on exchange of information and consultations on development of the recessionary processes in the world economy and etc. A bank subsidiary of the ?Russian Bank? functions in Kazakhstan.
