Heads of Kazakh universities visited Poland

sp;ASTANA. October 30. KAZINFORM. With the purpose of further development of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of higher education and science and within the framework of Path to Europe State program for 2009-2011 the Kazakh delegation visited Poland on October 23-30; the Kazakh Embassy's press service told Kazinform.

The delegation consisted of directors of the Kazakh State Agrotechnical University, Eurasian National University, East Kazakhstan State Technical University, Kazakh National Medical University and Kazakh National Technical University.

They visited a number of Polish higher education institutions and held talks in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and State Accreditation Commission.

Following the results of the meetings the sides signed agreements of cooperation between the Warsaw Polytechnic University and the Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University, Kazakh State Agrotechnical University, and between the Krakow Academy of Mining and Metallurgy named after Stanislaw Staszic and the Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University.
