Heads of Kazkosmos and Roskosmos debated cooperation issues
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Heads of space agencies of Kazakhstan and Russia Talgat Mussabayev and Oleg Ostapenko held a working meeting in Moscow.
The parties focused on implementation of the agreements, envisaged by the roadmap on the joint use of the Baikonur complex for 2014-2016 and preparations for the second meeting of the intergovernmental commission on the Baikonur space centre. Besides, Mussabayev brought up some urgent issues, in particular, the launch of the KazSat 3 satelite, realization of the project on the Baiterek space rocket complex and further realization of the Dnepr program, the possible flight of a Kazakh cosmonaut of the to the ISS, Kazkosmos press service said. Following the results of the talks the sides agreed to intensify joint efforts in order to develop promising directions of cooperation.
