All women of reproductive age will undergo a comprehensive examination by local medical practitioners to ascertain their overall health status.

Those planning a pregnancy, young girls and teenagers will be subject to particular monitoring.

In order to guarantee a safe and healthy pregnancy, a program of health-enhancing measures will be initiated prior to the onset of pregnancy, known as pregravid preparation. This encompasses a range of diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic measures designed to assess the couple's overall health and prepare them for the process of conception, subsequent pregnancy and the birth of a healthy child.

“It is of utmost importance that every woman in our country has access to timely and quality medical care from an early age onwards. All women in the country should undergo a medical examination at a medical center prior to planning a pregnancy,” the ministry emphasized.

A total number of women residing in our country currently stands at over 10 million, including 4.7 million women of fertile age.
