Healthcare Minister slams quality of training provided to nurses in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Healthcare Minister of Kazakhstan Salidat Kairbekova has had some harsh words to say about the quality of training provided to nursing students in Kazakhstan. She told the extended session of the ministry Tuesday it [training] did not stand up to criticism.

"The recent inspection of a number of medical colleges proved there are serious problems in training of nursing care professionals. All six colleges under check fell short of accepted standards and training of nurses was not up to par," Ms Kairbekova said.
Hence, the head of the ministry suggested completing the inspection of all medical colleges this year together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.
