Heat wave to grip most of Kazakhstan July 19

The National Met Office Kazhydromet has issued the weather forecast for Kazakhstan for July 19, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Due to a slow-moving southern cyclone and associated fronts, unstable weather conditions are to linger in the greater part of the country, causing rains with thunderstorms, hail and squally wind. Heavy rain is predicted in the north, east, center, mountainous and sub-mountainous areas of the south and southeast.

Fog is to coat the north, southwest and center of the country in the nighttime and morning.

Heat wave is to grip Atyrau, Mangistau and West Kazakhstan regions in the daytime.

High fire danger is to persist in Atyrau, west, north, south of West Kazakhstan, northwest, east of Zhambyl, southwest of Aktobe, southeast of East Kazakhstan, north, east of Pavlodar, east of Abai, west of Ulytau regions.

Extreme fire danger is in place for Mangistau, southeast, northwest, north of Atyrau, south of Kostanay, north, desert areas of Turkestan, center, south of Kyzylorda regions.
