Heating restored at old part of Temirtau town

The heating was restored in the old part of the town of Temirtau. The temperature conditions were reduced as the Karaganda regional power station No.1 pumping houses collapsed, Kazinform News Agency reports.

As earlier reported, the accident at the power station occurred last night. Its steam-generating units were switched to standby fuel ( heavy residue).

As of now, heating was restored in the apartment buildings in this part of the town.

The heat indexes are reading 87/65 against the plan of 86/64.

The repair works are underway. Fuel reserves are estimated to be sufficient to meet the local needs, the press service of the Temirtau akimat reports.
