Heavy downpours to pound west of Kazakhstan on Tue

On Tuesday, unsteady weather brings thundershowers, hail and squalls to the greater part of Kazakhstan and heavy downpours to the country’s west, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.

The southwest, south and central part of Kazakhstan are set to enjoy today's weather without precipitation. High wind and fog are in store for the country.

Heat indexes are forecast to rise in Almaty, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, Aktobe, Zhambyl, Ulytau, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Abai regions.

The scorching heat is predicted to grip  Atyrau, Mangistau and Aktobe regions.

The fire threat remains high in Almaty, Atyrau, Zhetysu, Abai, Kyzylorda, Ulytau, Karaganda, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, and Akmola regions.

The extreme fire threat is in effect locally in Mangistau, Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Ulytau, Almaty, Zhetysu, Atyrau, Kostanay, Aktobe, East Kazakhstan, and Abai regions.
