Heavy rainfall to hit northern, northwestern and western parts of Kazakhstan Aug 13
The Northwestern cyclone with a good deposit of moisture is approaching the territory of Kazakhstan. Rain and thunderstorm, hail and squall are forecast across the country on Tuesday, August 13. Heavy rainfall is predicted for western, northwestern and northern parts, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Kazhydromet.
Wind speed will intensify across the country, and fog will blanket northern regions in the morning.
Fervent heat persists in Almaty, Zhambyl and Zhetysu regions in the daytime.
Fire hazard is expected to be high in Atyrau, Abai regions, east of Ulytau and Zhetysu regions, west and east of Karaganda region, south, east and center of East Kazakhstan region, west of Mangystau region, and south of Almaty region.
Extremely high fire risk persists in Mangystau, Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Almaty, Zhambyl, Ulytau, Zhetysu regions, south of Aktobe region, southwest and south of Atyrau region, south of Kostanay, East Kazakhstan, Karaganda regions, as well as in the west, northwest and south of Abai region.
