Hermitage Center to be opened at National Museum in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Hermitage Center will be opened at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan's Minister of Culture and Sports Arystanbek Mukhamediuly made the news public at the Forum of creative intellectuals of Kazakhstan and Russia in Astana on Monday, March 30. According to the minister, the State Hermitage Museum of Russia and the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan have already reached corresponding agreement. "This is done to solidify international cooperation between the leading museums of Kazakhstan and foreign countries," he added. Minister Mukhamediuly stressed that museums should be the centers of development of science, education, communications, cultural information and creative innovations.
