High wind and fog to grip Kazakhstan on Monday

Mets issued a weather foercast for Kazakhstan for December 23, Kazinorm News Agency cites Kazhydromet. 

Snowstorms are expected today in most of Kazakhstan with rain and snow predicted in the country's west. 

High wind and fog are forecast to sweep throughout Kazakhstan. Ice slick is to form on the roads in the west. 

As earlier reported, a storm alert was issued for Astana and 13 regions of Kazakhstan. 

On December 22, strong wind and foggy conditions were predicted countrywide, while southern areas were warned of black ice formation on the roads.
