High wind and hail expected in Kazakhstan Aug 3

Due to fronts, unstable weather conditions are to linger in a greater part of the country, bringing rains with thunderstorms. Only the south and center of the country are to enjoy the weather with no precipitation. High wind, hail as well as hail in the north and east and fog in the southwest and north are expected in the nighttime and morning, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Met Office Kazhydromet.

Heatwave is to grip Almaty, Atyrau, Mangistau, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Zhetysu, Abai, the south of Karaganda regions in the daytime.

A high fire risk is to persist in Almaty, Karaganda, Zhetysu, Abai, east, south, center of Aktobe, north of Atyrau, north, center of East Kazakhstan, most parts of Ulytau, Pavlodar, south, east of Akmola regions.

An extreme fire risk is in place in Mangistau, Kyzylorda, Turkestan, the south of Atyrau, south of Kostanay, Aktobe, west, center of Almaty, west of Ulytau, north, center of Zhetysu, much of Zhambyl, south, center of Abai regions.
