Highly specialized medical care grew by 60% in 2012 - Kazakhstan Health Ministry

ASTANA. February 18. KAZINFORM In Kazakhstan, in 2012, the volume of highly specialized medical care increased by 60% as compared with 2011, Kazakh Health Minister Salidat Kairbekova told the Government Hour in the Majilis.

"Stable implementation of the Unified National Health System allowed to focus on the development of high technologies available for residents of the capital and in the regions as well. As compared with 2011, the volume of highly specialized medical care increased by 60%, with 56% at the regional level ", said Kairbekova.

Also as part of the development of advanced technologies 28 stroke centers will be launched in the regions until the end of 2013, the Kazakh PM's website reported.

In addition, more than three thousand health managers were trained for organization of specialist training at the center of management. 12,000 patient care specialists were trained in 2012.
