Holding OSCE Summit in Astana to be discussed at foreign ministers' meeting in Athens

sp;ASTANA. November 12. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The issue on holding the OSCE Summit in Astana is to be discussed at the foreign ministers' meeting in Athens, OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut has said it.

"My visit represents the last stage of Kazakhstan's preparation for the chairmanship in the OSCE", the diplomat said.

According to him, Athens will host the foreign ministers' meeting. "I know that within the framework of this meeting Kazakhstan intends to discuss the issue of holding the OSCE summit in 2010 at the highest level. The issue will be widely discussed. Because of it 2010 will be an active year for Kazakhstan. Many different representatives will come here for consultations", Marc Perrin de Brichambaut noted.

He expressed confidence that within the framework of the OSCE many problem issues will find their solution next year.
