Holding OSCE Summit in Astana will give impetus to nongovernmental sector development in CA - Senator G.Kassymov

ASTANA. November 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Holding the OSCE Summit in Astana will give impetus to the nongovernmental sector development in Central Asia.

Senator Gani Kassymov has said it at the NGOs' Forum being held within the OSCE Review Conference today.

"We are at the stage of construction of nongovernmental organizations in out states. We have no experience. Such meetings, top-level summits will promote creation of background for the nongovernmental sector development in the Central Asian region", G.Kassymov said.

He noted that the Party of Patriots of Kazakhstan which he represents at the forum is engaged in such issues as non-violence towards children, humanist attitude to orphans. The Senator emphasized that the laws adopted by the Kazakh Parliament strengthen protection of children, maternity and women's health.
