Hollande steps up pressure over Europe debt crisis
It comes a day after he came face-to-face with the president of the European Council and ahead of a trip to Berlin, the euronews reports.
Socialist Hollande was elected on an anti-austerity ticket. He wants to see more emphasis on growth in Europe.
The details of the discussions in the French capital are unclear, but Juncker reportedly underlined previous warnings that the European fiscal pact is not up for renegotiation.
"The meeting between François Hollande and Eurogroup president Jean-Claude Juncker comes on the day Prime Minister Fillon's government officially resigned," said euronews correspondent Gianni Magi in Paris.
"Hollande's agenda is a sign of his desire to help tackle the escalating crisis of the euro, following the Greek elections," he continued.
