Holly See appreciates Kazakhstan's contribution to interreligious accord
ASTANA. December 2. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ "The Holly See recognizes and appreciates the contribution of Kazakhstan to ensuring interreligious accord", main expert on Islam of the Pontifical Committee for Interreligious Dialogue Khaled Akasha has said today at the IX session of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

"Vatican appreciates those financial and human obligations that your country is liable for together with the initiative of holding of the Congress of World Religions", he noted.
Members of the Secretariat - authoritative representatives of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Taoism and Hinduism highly appraised the role and prospects of the Congress of World Religious Leaders as an important part of the global interreligious dialogue.
"I am grateful to Kazakhstan Leadership and President Nazarbayev for establishment of such a unique dialogue platform", the Representative of the Chief Sephardi Rabbi of Israel said.
