Housing affordability of paramount importance: Majilis Speaker
ASTANA. December 7. KAZINFORM Housing affordability was in the focus of today's parliament hearings at Majilis.

Majilis Speaker Nurlan Nigmatulin, who opened the hearings, said 'Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev continually mentions that housing problem is of paramount importance for all citizens of Kazakhstan.'
"In the longer term it is crucial to provide housing for as many citizens of Kazakhstan as possible," N. Nigmatulin said.
Besides, it was noted that 545 million tenge was allotted from the state budget and the national fund to solve the problem of frozen shared construction.
"Undoubtedly, Kazakhstan's President made an unprecedented decision to help equity holders in that situation. No other country has ever done anything remotely resembling this move," he added.
