Given the high status of the summit, the city’s police switched to a reinforced regime with the increased number of police patrol units and enhanced visual control. Stationary police stations are operating near the entrances to the city, inspecting the vehicles and drivers. Air security measures were enhanced as well. Police warn of introduction of temporary restriction measures along the main streets of Astana during the official delegations’ movement.

The employees of governmental organizations and quasi-state companies were recommended to work online from July 2 to 4 to avoid traffic jam, while kindergartens will be closed for two days (July 3-4).
