Hu hails results of China-U.S. high-level dialogue

BEIJING. May 4. KAZINFORM Chinese President Hu Jintao on Friday hailed the ''positive results'' of the latest round of high-level dialogue between China and the United States as he met with top U.S. negotiators attending the annual gathering, according to official media.

Hu said the China-U.S. Strategic and Economic Dialogue held Thursday and Friday has resulted in both sides reaching several significant agreements, Xinhua News Agency reported, without elaborating on the agreements.

The Chinese president made the remarks while meeting with U.S. delegation leaders Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, who also met separately with Premier Wen Jiabao, Kyodo reports.
