Hu Jintao met with SCO FM Council

BEIJING. May 11. KAZINFORM SCO Foreign Ministers met with President of People's Republic of China Hu Jintao in Beijing on Friday.

In his greeting speech Hu Jintao stressed that thanks to joint efforts of SCO Foreign Ministers documents that would be signed at the SCO top-level meeting were reviewed and important agreements achieved.

"Necessary preparations for the SCO Summit have been made," President of People's Republic of China added.

According to Chinese President, the SCO Foreign Ministers' Council is a significant part of the organization that plays an important role in aiding practical cooperation between the SCO member countries.

"I hope that Foreign Affairs Ministers and the Council on the whole will fulfill their obligations in the best way and will contribute to sound development of our organization," Hu Jintao concluded.
