Humanitarian cargo from Kazakhstan arrives in landslide-hit Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan’s public fund Biz Birgemiz Qazaqstan sent 40 tons of humanitarian cargo to Kyrgyzstanis suffered from mudslides in the south, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

According to the Kyrgyz emergency situations ministry, this morning trucks carrying flour, sugar and other foods, basic necessities as well as hygiene products crossed the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border and are to head for Osh region.

On July 14, destructive mudslides hit Osh Region, Kyrgyzstan, killing five, damaging 642 houses, four schools, kindergarten, two hospitals, museum and midwifery station in Mady, Datka and Bash-Bulak settlements.
