VIENNA. March 31. KAZINFORM.  Hungarian President Pal Schmitt has no intention to resign, as follows from what the head of state said himself in a televised interview on Friday, Kazinform refers to  Itar-Tass.

The possibility of his resignation surfaced after Schmitt proved responsible for plagiarism in writing his dissertation in 1992. The University of Budapest stripped him of his PhD on Thursday.
