Hungary sees Kazakhstan as major partner in Central Asia - Péter Szijjártó
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Hungary sees Kazakhstan as its major partner in Central Asia, says Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.
"Despite the fact that two-way trade exceeds $200 million, it is still quite low. In other words, there is huge potential for cooperation, because Central Europe is becoming the driving force in Europe and Kazakhstan is the most dynamically developing country in the Central Asian region," Minister Szijjártó stressed in his opening remarks at the Kazakhstan-Hungary Business Forum in Astana today. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov and his Hungarian counterpart Prime Minister Viktor Orbán are expected to attend the forum later in the day. Kazakhstan and Hungary will ink a wide range of business contracts and agreements within the framework of the forum.
