<i>Atameken</i> National Economic Chamber held board session

ASTANA. April 2. KAZINFORM. The meeting of the board of the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan ?Atameken? Union devoted to the discussion of the Kazakh President?s Address to the Nation ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity? has taken place in Astana; Kazinform refers to the Chamber?s press service.

Deputies of the Kazakh Parliament?s Majilis, heads of business associations, regional and district unions of entrepreneurs took part in the sitting. Chairman of the Chamber Azat Peruashev noted that KZT 600 billion allocated for reconstruction of local infrastructure - roads, communications, schools and hospitals - will become a significant support for small and medium-sized businesses. The board discussed the involvement of industry associations in local programs for retraining of retrenched staff. The businessmen expressed confidence that the implementation of the President?s Message would enable to ease consequences of the world economic crisis as well as ensure creation of infrastructure for further successful development of Kazakhstan in post-crisis period.
