ASTANA. July 1. KAZINFORM - Today Astana is hosting the bilateral talks of the Kazakh leader and the British Premier. Mr. Cameron arrived in Kazakhstan yesterday. The first in the history of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom visit of the British Government to our country began with a visit to Atyrau (West Kazakhstan). Here they attended the factory called "Bolashak", where oil from the Kashagan offshore would be cleaned.
Mr. Cameron said "I am very glad with my first visit to your extraordinary capital - Astana. I am delighted that we have agreed to take these relations to a next level, and the partnership agreement which will be signed today is a key symbol of this.
There are areas where we are already working such as regional security, defense cooperation, work towards Kazakhstan's joining the WTO, education, and trade and investment .
I am delighted that air transit agreement from Afghanistan has been ratified and I look forward that surface transit agreement will be signed as soon as possible".
