Moody`s Investors Service reps visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. March 6. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Galymzhan Pirmatov met with analysts of the international rating agency Moody`s Investors Service Jonathan Schiffer and Anthony Thomas this week; Kazinform refers to the Ministry?s press service.

JP Morgan Chief Consultant Beatriz Merino attended the meeting from the Kazakh side. The meeting was held within the framework of annual visits of Moody?s representatives to Kazakhstan. G. Pirmatov told about socio-economic development of Kazakhstan and current state of economy in the country. The analysts also had meetings with Kazakh Prime Minister, leadership of Kazakh Finance Ministry, ?SamrukKazyna? Fund and other top officials. On March 3 they met with the management of the National Bank, Financial Supervision Agency and ?BTA Bank? in Almaty.
