ASTANA. January 13. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The head of ?SamrukKazyna? National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov offers to use means of ?Damu - regions? program for micro-crediting of rural population; Kazinform reports.

?This will allow to extend access of rural entrepreneurs to the state funds?, he thinks. K. Kelimbetov also notes that representatives of regional akimats support this approach. As reported earlier, ?Damu - Regions? Program is implemented by the subordinate organization of ?SamrukKazyna? Fund ? ?Damu? Fund together with the akimats for support of small and medium business. According to the ?SamrukKazyna?, about KZT 8 bln was disbursed for the present moment. The part of fund?s means in the amount of KZT 22 bln will be disbursed till March 15. Corresponding agreements have been already signed b the banks. At the Government?s session Kairat Kelimbetov remembered about some difficulties in the process of disbursement. ?It was difficult to finance entrepreneurs through the second-tier banks in accordance to the priorities and procedures set by akimats. We think that the requirements of akimats are well founded but impossible to be realized through the banks in specified terms. That is why, the part of akimats? means was not used last year?, - he said. The head of the Fund offered to forward the means of akimats supposed for ?Damu -Regions? program financing but not transferred to ?Damu? Fund to micro-crediting of rural population through ?KazAgro?
