I wish every family prosperity on the threshold of Nauryz - President Nazarbayev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - I wish prosperity to every family and bright future to the nation, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has said at the grand event dated to celebration of Nauryz at the Saryarka sports complex in Astana today.

"Our country - Kazakhstan that we built together has grown stronger over these years and every citizen can be proud of it. We continue to build it, we ensure it grows stronger and known around the world. We've been through various types of crisis. Today, the world is an unstable place to live in, the crisis is growing, energy prices are shrinking and we face a lot of challenges. But Kazakhstan is strong enough to overcome all of them," President Nazarbayev told people who gathered at the sports complex. "You all know the programs that I initiated. The "Nurly zhol - Path to the Future" program is our answer to difficulties. Apart from that program, we implement infrastructure projects countrywide - highways and railways, new airports, new housing. 30 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in the country over the past 4 years. It is all done for the people. The government cares about you. By implementing the abovementioned programs we will make our future better and brighter. But for that to happen we need to stand together, respect each other, trust and love each other. [Nauryz] is the holiday when you forgive and you are forgiven. People forget bad things and seek better future, wish each other happiness. I wish you and every family in the country prosperity, have a good holiday!" the Kazakh President added.
