ICAO’s Air Accident Investigation Section head arrives in Kazakhstan’s Aktau
An ICAO representative arrived in Aktau at the instruction of the ICAO Secretary General, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Transport Ministry.
Thormodur Thormodsson, an accredited observer - the head of the ICAO’s Air Accident Investigation Section, landed in Aktau on December 29.
Thus, all 17 international experts gathered in Aktau.
As earlier reported, CENIPA and Embraer representatives arrived in Aktau.
38 died and 29 survived as Baku-Grozny flight J2-8243 operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25.
As written before, the Kazakh Transport Ministry revealed the details of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash near Aktau.
Earlier it was reported that the bodies of 10 deceased people out of 38 have been so far identified.
