ICI9 held in Malaysia to discuss tech impact on higher education

KUALA LUMPUR. August 12. KAZINFORM The Ninth International Conference on Information (ICI9) opened here on Wednesday to discuss the impacts of technologies on higher education; Kazinform cites China View.

The two-day conference, with the theme of "Learning Innovations in Higher Education," will also explore new ideas and innovations in open learning, mobile learning and e-learning, and their impacts on higher education.

 E-learning is a learning process using electronic hardware and software such as computer and Internet.

ICI9 is aimed to stimulate and exchange ideas and experiences among the participating institutions from Hungary, China, Egypt, Britain, the United States, Australia, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines; Kazinform has learnt from China View.
