IDB to finance gasification of 14 villages in S Kazakhstan

SHYMKENT. February 13. KAZINFORM /Tatyana Pylayeva/ The Islamic Development Bank will finance gasification of 14 villages of Kazygurt district of the South Kazakhstan oblast, Kazinform reports.

The Bank has already allotted KZT 3 bln 800 mln for supply of gas to Sharapkhan, Karabau, Altyn Tobe, Zhanabazar, Kokebel and Zhigergen rural districts. The total expenses for preparation of design and estimation documentation comprise KZT 35 mln. This sum will be allotted from the region?s budget. Over 35% of the population of Kazygurt district lives in the abovementioned villages.
