II Astana Economic Forum to be held in March

ASTANA. February 5. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ II Astana Economic Forum ?Economic Security in Eurasia in the Global Risk? is scheduled in Astana on March this year. Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov has told about it today at the session of the Board, Kazinform correspondent reports.

?At present over 200 economist-scientists and experts from 51 countries and 15 international organizations have already confirmed their participation in the event. Among them are the Nobel laureates in economics, the President of the Islamic Development Bank and the Ex-President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development?, B. Sultanov said. ?I think that against controversies which we observe at different meetings including last Davos Forum Astana platform will let discuss topical issues and measures to overcome situation in the region?, the Minister added.
