III national distant Olympiad in Kazakh language finished in Astana

ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ III republican distant Olympiad in Kazakh language among pupils of non-Kazakh nationality ?Language is a symbol of independence? was finished in Astana, Kazinform reports.

?Participants showed very good knowledge of the Kazakh language. It is pleasant that pupils of non-Kazakh nationality strive to learn Kazakh?, chairman of the jury, head of the department of practical Kazakh language of the Eurasian National University Zeinekhan Kuzekova said. The first place won Dinara Matrasulova (Aktobe), the second ? Daniil Larionov (Pavlodar) and Yekaterina Kim (Kyzylorda), the third ? Lyudmila Isupova (Pavlodar), Liliya Ivanova (Aktobe), Yulya Lutavinova (Astana). 33 pupils from six regions of Kazakhstan took part in the Olympiad. The winners were awarded diplomas and prizes. The Olympiad was organized by ?Daryn? National Scientific-Practical Center of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science and the Committee of Languages of the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information.
