Ilham Aliyev to visit Kazakhstan this year

BAKU. March 30. KAZINFORM /Arnur Mukhametkarim/ Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov has informed today about the planned for this year official visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Kazakhstan. The Ambassador said it during the press conference at "Trend" agency.

According to him, the important event of 2011 for the Kazakh-Azerbaijani relations is going to be an official visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Kazakhstan. The date of the visit has not been announced yet.

"We have great potential and a lot of prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in many directions. Thus, these meetings at the highest level are very important and necessary for realization of the agreements reached," S. Primbetov said.

Besides, he noted that during the visit the sides would discuss the issues of further cooperation in the field of oil and gas and agricultural sector as well as cultural humanitarian issues.

"Currently, there are more than 10 draft mutual documents on cooperation in different spheres which are under consideration. The most part of them will likely be signed within the upcoming visit and become the actual result of the high level meeting," the Ambassador added.
