Ilya Ilyin wins 'gold' at Asian Games in Guangzhou

BEIJING. November 18. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Kazakhstani Ilya Ilyin won gold medal in weightlifting at Asian Games in Guangzhou.

In the weight category up to 94 kg Ilya Ilyin became the champion of the Asian Games totaling 394 kg. It moved Kazakhstan to the 9^th place in the medal standings of the 16^th Asian Games.

Kazakhstan now has three gold medals and seven silver and 13 bronze ones.
