Implementation of 2 investment projects to create almost 2 000 new jobs in Ekibastuz

PAVLODAR REGION. November 24. KAZINFORM Implementation of two big investment projects in Ekibastuz under the single-industry cities development program will create 1 829 new jobs, the press service of the region's governor reports.

Construction of the Bozshchakol mining and refining plant that is believed to produce 25 million tones of ore per year is in the full swing in the region. 1 500 jobs will be offered as soon as the plant is commissioned.

Production of switch throws and railway wheels has kicked off at "Prommashkomplekt" Ltd. In mid 2013 the plant is expected to work at its full capacity and will hire 329 workers.

Both projects are worth 260 billion tenge.
