Implementation of 6 projects totaling over KZT 29 bln starts this year in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Implementation of 6 projects amounting to KZT 29 bln will begin in industrial parks of Astana this year, Mayor of Astana Adilbek Dzhaksybekov told at the annual conference of entrepreneurs.

According to him, presently, a number of significant industrial and innovation projects are being implemented in the capital city. The presence of the special economic zone "Astana-new city" multiplies the positive effect.

"54 projects with the volume of investments about KZT 147 bln are being implemented or planned to be implemented in the territory of the special economic zone. 21 of them have already been launched," the Mayor of Astana noted.

According to the city administration, the functioning enterprises (21) have already produced products for KZT 336.9 bln and paid taxes in the amount of 29.7 bln tenge.

"By the yearend we plan to launch another six projects totaling 29 bln tenge. Thanks to open and constructive cooperation of the public and private sectors, there are a lot of successful programs implemented in Astana now," A. Dzhaksybekov added.
