In Italy «To Stars from Baikonur» monograph was presented
The publication contains articles, interview and analytical material prepared by Italian experts on the issues of space studies and Kazakhstan's experience in this area, the MFA's press service said.
Representatives of the Italian Space Agency and National Research Council, as well as scientific and cultural circles' prominent representatives participated in the event. Delivering his speech, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Italy Andrian Yelemessov briefed the Italian audience on Kazakhstan's policies in the sphere of space studies, the history of space launching port Baikonur, its unique potential, which is currently actively engaged and consistently developed. It was emphasized that Kazakhstan's path to space is based on pragmatism, rationalism and applicability of the systems and services that are under development to solving the most urgent issues of social -economic growth and innovation development of Kazakhstan. Representatives of the Italian side noted that Kazakhstan as a possessor of Baikonur plays an important role in space exploration at a global scale. Economic growth at current times allows us to actively develop new space programs in governmental, civil, military and commercial sectors. The monograph's value lies at its possible usage by both industry specialists and a public at large, who are interested in the topic.
