In Minsk Lukashenko shows new presidential residence to high level guests

MINSK. October 24. KAZINFORM Ahead of high-level meeting of the CIS Heads of State in Minsk, Alexander Lukashenko proudly demonstrated the new presidential residence to Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The construction of the new presidential residence - the Palace of Independence - was wrapped up the other day in the capital of Belarus. According to President Lukashenko, it is to symbolize the inviolability of Belarusian statehood and independence.

The Palace of Independence will host major events, starting from the presentation of credentials by foreign diplomats to top-level meetings.
