India to host World Boxing Cup Final 2025
The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has announced that the republic has won the right to host the World Boxing Cup Final 2025 and the World Boxing Congress in November 2025, TV BRICS reports.
According to IANS, the event is said to showcase India's growing importance in the global boxing arena and reaffirm the country's readiness to host world-class sporting events.
The World Boxing Cup Final 2025 final will summarise the results of the three preliminary rounds of the tournament held earlier this year. It will bring together the world's best boxers to compete for top honours and improve their positions in the world rankings.
At the same time, representatives of the world boxing community will gather at the World Boxing Congress. They will discuss the development strategy and the future of the sport.
It is expected that the competition will inspire aspiring athletes and draw the world's attention to Indian boxing.
